The South Carolina Koi and Water Garden Society (SCKWGS) is a non-profit organization founded in July, 1997, to encourage appreciation and interest in water gardening, ponds, koi, and goldfish. The society’s objectives are to disseminate information to help members and to stimulate the study and culture of water plants and fish. The membership year runs from July 1st through June 30th, and there are 9 monthly meetings per year plus the annual water garden tour (June), the annual Koi & Goldfish Show (October), and the annual Holiday Party (January). In addition, each member will receive a monthly newsletter (11 per year). The annual membership fee is $25 per family.
